Bloomington, IN — Indiana-based Storage Express has acquired a 50,000 square foot property in Fort Wayne, IN, bringing the total number of Storage Express properties to 92. This purchase represents the company’s second location in Fort Wayne, the state’s second largest city.
The property just underwent an extensive face-lift. Customers now enjoy improvements including a new lift gate with an improved access control system, 24-hour access, greatly enhanced lighting, and two dozen IP security cameras. And Storage Express converted the former rental office that offered limited office hours to one of its signature 24-hour rental centers.
Jesse Luke with EquiCap Commercial out of Chicago, IL represented Storage Express. Bill Alter of Rein & Grossoehme represented an Arizona-based seller.
“We’re looking forward to continued growth in this northern region of Indiana. Our rentals are centralized out of our Bloomington headquarters 24-hours a day by our Storage Express team. And our local field service reps keep this and all of our properties in top-notch shape,” said Jefferson Shreve, President of Storage Express. “Those two teams are something I’m really proud of,” added Shreve.
Storage Express owns and operates self storage properties across Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ohio. Storage Express has opened three locations in Indiana over the past year. More information about the Company can be found online at www.StorageExpress.com.
