Storage Express is a growing self storage development and management company with nearly 50 employees. We have over 70 locations in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Ohio. Our locations have between 25 and 400 self-storage spaces. The Bloomington office handles all of the administrative responsibilities for our self-storage properties.
Responsibilities:
Perform lock checks and routine maintenance, clean out and sweep vacant spaces, weed control along our fence lines, change security gate codes, trouble-shoot gate operators, repair and/or replace roll-up doors, repair or replace lighting, and assist with various other projects as needed.
Requirements:
The Field Service Representative position requires a self-motivated individual, as our reps work mostly on their own each day. An effective Field Service Representative must have a basic knowledge of building and grounds maintenance, be a problem-solver, be mechanically-inclined, and possess common sense. As occasional customer contact is likely, some customer service experience is helpful. A Field Service Representative must maintain a clean driving record.
