Storage Express Opens Climate Controlled Facility

May 15, 2009

Storage Express will celebrate the opening of their new heated & cooled self-storage building in Columbus on Thursday, May 28 -- from Noon to 2 pm at their location on East S.R. 46 (State Street). This is the first of the Company’s four Columbus locations to offer climate-controlled spaces.

Members of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce and  representatives from the City will participate in a ribbon cutting ceremony at the new building. A live broadcast of the event on Y106 Radio will capture the festivities, which include free food, gifts for all attendees, door prizes, and tours of the property.

Jeff  Shreve, the company’s owner/president, and a dozen other Storage Express representatives, will present a big check to the Bartholomew County Humane Society. Shreve and his team launched Adopt a Friend, a company  program aimed at providing support to animal shelters, whose incomes often decrease during times of economic downturn, such as these. Adopt a Friend is being launched in each of the several markets into which Storage Express is expanding in 2009.

Storage Express owns and operates 70 self-storage properties across Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee. Rentals are centralized out of the Company’s Bloomington head office. Local Field Service Reps keep their Columbus properties in great shape.
